When people first start their fitness journey, I often hear that they do not know how to reach their goals. Often they think they need to dive head first into meal prepping, working out twice a day, taking supplements, and push as hard as they can every day with no days off. When they do, it often lasts a week or two and then they fall off. That snowballs into thoughts of “well I missed Monday, might as well miss Tuesday…”
One thing to focus on is just being consistent. Come to the gym with a good attitude and be grateful for your health and ability to move. You can do all the things but without doing them consistently you won’t get far. Set up reachable goals for yourself. Hit one, then make another….
